It's Time...

to finally put up the Christmas decorations! Usually I would prefer to have our Christmas stuff up by now, but because of some resistance from my darling husband and the fact that we were out of town over Thanksgiving weekend... we are just getting around to making our house full of the Christmas warmth. This is our quaint little tree that we put up last night. It's not very big but perfect for our little living room.

Jason is going to kill me for posting this. Isn't it strange how much he looks like a very man-like woman(I didn't want to say the word that you are all thinking) with these Christmas tree ornament earings on?


I am in love with the Christmas season. One of my favorite traditions is going to pick out Christmas tree ornaments. Every year after we would pick out a tree (before the fake tree came along) we would go to ShopKo or some other store and each of us would get to pick out our own ornament. It made for a very hodge podge Christmas tree but it was always fun. I can't wait to continue that tradition in our family.

49 days and counting...

Instead of a Christmas countdown in our house, we have a Lost countdown! This is my favorite show of all time! I got Jason hooked on it last year when I got all of the seasons for Christmas. We both love that one suspenseful hour every Wednesday night! I think this season the Oceanic 6 are going back to the island to help the people they left behind. I can't wait to watch!
