So after much hesitation, we began leaving Sawyer downstairs while we are at work. He has been good as far as not going to the bathroom in the house, but sometimes he gets bored of his toys and turns to other forms of entertaining himself. This is the mess I came home to the other day.
A magazine shredded to pieces and a book turned chew toy (brings new meaning to dog-ear). As I walked closer to the book, wondering which one he had ruined, I began to laugh. 
It's the book we read before we brought Sawyer home and apparently it's not working...

That's hilarious, I can sympathize with the naughty dog, Nautica was the same for a long time. Thankfully he go bored, but we did a lot of kennel time with him when we were first gone to work. We also did a puppy class, Don' Pet Care. Worked wonders!
