Lil' Shrimpy

Jason and I both hate seafood. Well, I think Jason would eat some seafood, like lobster and shrimp, if when he did he didn't swell up like a giant Maraschino cherry. Okay, so I don't know what actually happens to Jason when he eats crab fish but we don't have an EpiPen just lying around the house so we're not going to take our chances.  (Now I'm making myself hungry with all this food talk and it's not even food I like!)

Despite the fact that we aren't huge seafood fans, this little shrimpy has our hearts!

I realize that the picture quality of this scan is horrible and I know exactly how I could fix it. But my pregnant (and rather lazy) self does not really want to go re-scan it. So, spotted and all this is our little babe at 13 weeks and 1 day. He actually measured in at 13 weeks even... meaning he is a fraction of a fraction of a centimeter smaller than a baby at 13 weeks and 1 day would be. But really... with his genes can you really expect him not to be shorter than all the other kids his age?

I was really hopeful that we might be able to see a little something something between the legs this appointment but no such luck. Four more weeks until we find out if I've made a fool of myself for predicting a boy. Wouldn't be the first time I've made a fool of myself and I'm sure it won't be the last.

oh dear shrimpy shrimp... you are so darling and tiny. congrats again nicole! can't wait to get together and do some serious baby talk. p.s. good luck with the uncrossed legs thing. why do these kids feel they need to be naughty before they even come out?!?!?

Aren't the ultra sounds so fun?! Well I've only one so far, but it was cool. He/She is going to be a very cute little shimp :) So you think it's a boy?? Is that your motherly instinct? I'm going to be a horrible mom, I don't really have an instinct yet :( We need to hang soon! Carve some pumpkins really soon!!
